Plover in the Morning Glow
While laying in the wet sand, dodging the incoming tide, this little Semipalmated Plover came running towards me. It appears to emerge from the bright pastel colors of the sunrise. The sun was still just barely over the horizon so the light was still low giving this little shore bird a bit of personality.
