Great Egrets are an impressive wadding bird. They rival Great Blue Herons in size and their white plumage makes them appear slightly more elegant in my eyes. One morning while sitting still along the backs of an outlet to the Long Island sound, this Great Egret flew in and began to fish only feet from me. It is an honor to be able to be so close to a species that was nearly killed off only a few years ago due to over hunting.
All prints are done on high quality paper to ensure they will last for years to come. All prints have a 1.18 inch white border and are hand signed to provide a one of a kind item. The dimensions provided are the actual printed image dimensions. The white boarder adds to the overall print size. Example: a 8”x10” print is a 8”x10” printed image with an overall external dimension of 10.4”x12.4”.
