Barred Owl In the Hemlock
When you hear an owl call in the woods, it is a very special moment. You get a sense of connection to nature hearing such an elusive creature and knowing that they are out there in the woods somewhere. While hiking I heard a Barred Owl call, it’s distinct “who cooks for you” hoot. I decided to slowly venture to where I had heard the owl. Before I knew it I came up to the owl which was resting in a dead hemlock tree. I slowly sat down to be able to observe it and it ended up taking a nap in the tree in front of me. After about a half hour, I left, leaving the owl still sitting there in the tree.
All prints are done on high quality paper to ensure they will last for years to come. All prints have a 1.18 inch white border and are hand signed to provide a one of a kind item. The dimensions provided are the actual printed image dimensions. The white boarder adds to the overall print size. Example: a 8”x10” print is a 8”x10” printed image with an overall external dimension of 10.4”x12.4”.
